Empowerment Classroom Culture Grant – Terms and Conditions
1. Eligibility
- Applicants must be current K-12 educators, school leaders, or school staff members at a U.S.-based public, private, or charter school.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to participate in grant programs within the U.S.
- Each applicant may submit only one application per grant cycle.
2. Application Process
- Applications must be submitted by the specified deadline on the grant application page.
- An application fee of $20 is required at the time of submission to cover administrative costs.
- Incomplete applications, or those missing the application fee, will not be considered.
3. Use of Funds
- Grant funds are intended exclusively for the implementation of the proposed project as outlined in the application.
- Acceptable uses include materials, resources, tools, and other expenses that directly contribute to building and enhancing classroom or school culture.
- Funds may not be used for personal expenses, unrelated school purchases, or non-educational items.
4. Payment and Disbursement
- The grant amount of $600 will be provided to the selected recipients within 30 days of the award announcement.
- Recipients will receive funds via check or direct deposit to their designated school or personal account, depending on school or district policies.
5. Project Implementation and Reporting
- Recipients are expected to initiate the project within 90 days of receiving funds and complete it within one academic year.
- Grant recipients may be required to submit a brief report on the project’s progress and outcomes within six months of receiving funds.
- Two consultations with education experts are included as part of the grant. Recipients are encouraged to use these consultations to support project implementation and maximize impact.
6. Documentation and Publicity
- Recipients agree to document the project’s implementation (photos, written summaries, etc.) and submit materials as requested by Empower52.
- By accepting the grant, recipients consent to have their project featured on Empower52’s website, social media, and marketing materials.
- Any materials shared may include the recipient’s name, school name, and project details, unless otherwise agreed upon.
7. Acknowledgment and Recognition
- Grant recipients agree to acknowledge Empower52 in any communications, reports, or presentations related to the funded project.
- Any promotional materials created for the project should include credit to the Empowerment Classroom Culture Grant by Empower52.
8. Changes to Project Plans
- Any significant changes to the project plan or use of funds must be communicated to Empower52 in writing for approval.
- Empower52 reserves the right to withdraw funding if the project significantly deviates from the original proposal without prior approval.
9. Non-Compliance and Revocation
Empower52 reserves the right to revoke the grant and request reimbursement if it is found that:
- The funds were misused or not applied as intended.
- The recipient failed to provide required reports or participate in consultations.
- There was any misrepresentation of information in the application.
10. Liability
- Empower52 is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses that may result from the implementation of the project.
- Recipients assume full responsibility for compliance with school policies, legal guidelines, and other regulations.
11. Confidentiality
- Empower52 will protect the personal information of applicants and will only share publicly the details authorized by recipients as per these Terms and Conditions.
12. Agreement to Terms
- By submitting an application, applicants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Empower52 reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, and changes will be communicated to applicants as necessary.
